Digital Identity - UPC

To be able to access UPC services, you need your digital identity that identifies you as a member of the university community.

Your Digital Identity is unique to the UPC and you can validate it through the following formats:

Credentials: System user plus password. It is used to identify you when accessing UPC online spaces, such as the ATENEA Virtual Campus website, the intranet of this website, etc.

UPC card: The UPC card identifies you as a member of the university community (students, PDI, PAS) or as a member of the UPC Group, it is digital and is available from the UPC App.

UPC email

The UPC email address (name.lastname@upc.edu) is the institutional information channel. All news and information are received through this channel, which makes it essential to check the mailbox. However, according to our profile and center where we develop our activity, our address is included in the corresponding distribution lists.

 Since public institutions have recently received numerous attacks on their information systems, the UPC has implemented the double authentication factor. What is it? How is it used?

   

UPC Mailbox

Access the UPC Post from any device: computer; laptop; tablet or mobile. You can be there at your place of work, teleworking or at any place and time.

  • You must enter your email address @upc.edu I the UPC intranets authentication window will appear, where it is necessary to enter the user and password of the UPC intranets. UPC Directory

The UPC Directory lists all the university's staff. The correct address and phone umber must be entered. This means receiving all external/internal mail orrespondence at our workplace (eg from Personnel Services) and being able to be located correctly. To modify the data, it is necessary to do so through the ticket service of the Personnel Service -PUC Personal- and request the changes.

WIFI - EDUROAM

The UPC wireless network. Eduroam (Education Roaming) facilitates the Mobility of European researchers and students, as it offers them wifi (wireless) connectivity when traveling to other institutions that are connected to Géant. In this way, the users of the participating institutions have access to the Internet through the wireless networks of the other participating institutions. The UPC is affiliated to it, so UPC staff can connect. Configuration

Access to the facilities during closing periods (weekends-holidays)

Staff who need access to the department's facilities at the EEBE on weekends and/or holidays must send an email to espais.eebe@upc.edu requesting permission and justifying the need for access , indicating the person's full name and ID or PASSPORT, as well as the name of the POI responsible for authorizing access.

 In the rest of the centres, you must contact the departmental support staff.

UPC Risk Prevention
