Textile Engineering Scope - CEM

The Textile Engineering section provides teaching on the bachelor's degree in Textile Technology and Design Engineering at the Terrassa School of Industrial, Aerospace and Audiovisual Engineering (ESEIAAT)

The research is carried out in the laboratories and workshops with specialised textile technology equipment. Textile Engineering section staff participate in the UPC research group TECTEX - Textile Technology Research Group.

At its facilities and with its textile technology equipment, the Textile Engineering section carries out research; analysis; courses, seminars and conferences; conference organisation; publications; and various kinds of reports and appraisals for industry.

It also provides industrialists with documents and bibliographic resources. The Terrassa Campus Library is the only documentation centre that specialises in textile industry sectors of Catalonia and the most important of its kind in Spain.
