Three laboratories in the field of textile DETIP join the organization of practice sessions for COST MP1105 FLARETEX

On February the 2nd, three of the laboratories of the Department participated in the COST MP1105 Flaretex: Training School on Behaviours Strategies to study fire and fire retardant Mechanisms, organized from the Barcelona School of Building Construction.
This Cost Action, funded by the European Union, is related to the topic about the replacement of existing flame retardants with others more sustainable and environmentally friendly ones, within the Flaretex project.
PDI and PAS of these laboratories organized the visit and the sessions for the group of more than 30 attendees from across the European Union, who were very satisfied with the course of the sessions.

A practice session on "Textile Structures and their characterization" was prepared by the Textile Laminar Structures and the Textile Physics Laboratories. Other practice session on "Prototype-Development of Textile Functionalized Materials" was prepared by the Textile Ecofinishing Laboratory. |
